Welcome to the Vat and Duties Tribunals, Special Commissioners, Financial Services & Markets Tribunal and Pensions Regulator Tribunal website. This site has been designed to meet the needs of those wishing to appeal against decisions of HM Customs & Excise and the Inland Revenue or to refer matters relating to certain decisions of the Financial Services Authority and the Pensions Regulator.

The Tribunals are part of the Department for Constitutional Affairs and share the same headquarters in Bedford Square, London WC1 although each retains its own separate jurisdiction. For administrative purposes they are known within the Department for Constitutional Affairs collectively as the Finance and Tax Tribunals. His Honour Stephen Oliver QC is the judicial head of all four Tribunals. Formally he is the President of the VAT and Duties Tribunals, the Presiding Special Commissioner, the President of the Financial Services and Markets Tribunal and the President of the Pensions Regulator Tribunal.
