Description: Tax Automation was formed in March 2001 to provide specialist tax technology services to large UK companies and accountancy firms.  Our directors are two of the most experienced tax technology consultants in the industry today and have become well known for their outstanding approach to customer care.



Nigel Rainer BSc(Hons), CTA, MBCS



Nigel trained with Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) and began his career in tax systems whilst still working in the C&L tax practice.  Having subsequently developed his expertise as support manager for the key Taxsoft accounts and as technical services manager for Tax Computer Systems, Nigel is now responsible for overseeing all tax and systems technical development within Tax Automation.  A Chartered Tax Adviser, Nigel is also a professional grade member of the British Computer Society and is an experienced programmer and database designer. Nigel is the architect of Tax Automation’s unique software code generation tools that allow robust, scalable tax database solutions to be developed quickly and efficiently. 



Bryony Clinton ATT



Bryony trained with Ernst & Young and, having moved into the National Tax Training department set-up and ran the tax software training programme for the UK tax practice. During 5 years at Taxsoft she was involved in all aspects of customer support and worked with the development team where she earned a reputation as a tenacious tester of software. These skills were further developed when she joined Tax Computer Systems and took responsibility for setting up and running the customer service side of the business. Bryony’s tax and systems training experience together with her approach to customer service have earned her a reputation for providing focused, practical assistance in all aspects of tax systems.
