We are different to other accountants We work much more closely with our clients than traditional accountants. We also have a much smaller number of clients than normal and are selective in the clients that we act for. We want to get to know our clients businesses inside out, enabling us to easily identify problems and spot opportunities. We want to help improve profits and encourage growth.
Our mission is to always add value Whatever we do for you, we will always carry out our work with the aim of adding value to your business. We run a very cost effective business by making the most of modern technology and homeworking, but we will never be the cheapest solution. John Ruskin defined value as follows:
"It's unwise to pay too much, but it's also unwise to pay too little. When you pay too much you lose a little money, that is all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing you bought it to do.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's well to add something for the risk you run. And if you do that, you will have enough money to pay for something better."
A unique feature of our service is fixed price agreements Once we have established your needs we will give you a guaranteed fully inclusive price from the start. This will give you peace of mind and no surprise bills.

Kay Johnson Gee

Let's get things straight - we know that most people in business don't really want an accountant. What they do want is someone who will help them build a better business, someone who understands the problems they face and who can genuinely add value to their business. Perhaps that is why we have grown year-on-year since our establishment some fifty years ago.
Rather than tell you how we feel about ourselves, we have taken a different approach, We have asked a number of our clients what they thought of us and how we have made a difference to their business. Below you will find words of our clients, telling you what you can expect should you choose to use us.

Cassons

Our focus is always on our clients. But if you want to focus on us, this is the place to do so.
It’s not what we do but the way that we do it that we think makes us a bit special. Read about our approach and see if you agree. (Better still, come and talk to us, without fee or obligation.)
We briefly mention the types of clients we have. The real point of the Clients section, however, is to introduce the way we manage our client relationships and our standards of client care. We also include some of the feedback which we’ve received from clients.
We tell you a little about the services offered by each of our departments. Whilst this gives you an idea of our broad range of expertise, it may also be a bit misleading. We don’t think in departmental terms. We offer all our services seamlessly, so that you get a complete service without having to ask for it.
We are more interested in your future than our past but, if you are interested, there is a page outlining the history of the firm.
There are pages giving information about our 2 offices, with contact details and maps; and about our international network.
We have 10 partners and many truly excellent staff. You can read a little bit about our partners, not just as professionals but also as people.

Royce Peeling Green Ltd

Royce Peeling Green Limited can trace its roots in Manchester, where it is one of the oldest independent firms of Chartered Accountants, back almost a century. The firm is now one of the most highly respected in the North West.
In order to ensure that we are able to continue the long standing Royce Peeling Green policy of attracting and retaining the necessary skill base for a progressive leading independent firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors the partners of RPG have decided to transfer all of its business to a limited company.
This move is inline with the recent policy of many firms of Chartered Accountants, both large and small.
Twelve directors and fifty staff operating out of three offices aim to provide professional personal services that give value for money whilst satisfying clients' business and personal objectives with a depth of knowledge and expertise.
Royce Peeling Green Limited values its hard-earned reputation and continues to strive to maintain its standing by continuous attention to current fiscal legislation and education.
Over the years we have proved that clients prefer partner and director involvement when dealing with their affairs and today we remain dedicated to continue this practice. In addition, our independence enables us to provide an unrestricted service designed to achieve prosperity for our clients.

Lloyd Piggott

The Lloyd Piggott name came into existence when Charles Lloyd and Arthur Piggott joined forces in the early 1920’s.
We have been based at Blackfriars House since 1971 when the partners were Jack Griffith, Keith Naismith and Colin Lomas. At this time the practice name was extended to become Lloyd Piggott Griffith and Naismith.
In 1987 and 1989 both Jack Griffith and Keith Naismith retired with their clients being transferred to Gary Dodds who became a partner in 1987.
Sue Redmond became a partner in 2001 and in addition to her own clients, looks after those previously held by Colin Lomas.
Our most recent addition to the practice is Hasan Hashmi. Hasan qualified as a Certified Accountant in 1996 and became a member of the Institute of Tax in 2001. He now specialises in giving corporate tax advice to owner-managed businesses.
