The Advanced Diploma in International Taxation
The Institute considers that there are significant benefits in having an internationally recognised Diploma. Just as having the CTA indicates that the individual has a certain level of competence in UK tax matters, so the Diploma indicates a high level of competence in International Taxation and a successful candidate needs to be able to demonstrate knowledge in three areas:
* The principles of international taxation;
* In-depth knowledge of international tax issues for their primary jurisdiction;
* An awareness of basic tax issues, particularly in relation to international tax, in at least one secondary jurisdiction.

Bournemouth University Law & Taxation Degree
The popularity of legal studies makes entry into the
profession a competitive business for the newly
qualified law student. Law graduates who can offer more
than the standard legal training can have an edge over
others when looking at career opportunities in the legal
profession.
This is a fully qualifying law degree covering all the
basic legal subjects, but with the added benefit of a
focus on taxation and law. Tax is taught as a branch of
the law with the emphasis on legal principles, as well
as from a critical viewpoint on matters of tax policy
and practice.
Our tax graduates are entitled to sit the final
exams of the Chartered Institute of Taxation without
first qualifying as Tax Technicians. This accreditation
is unique and indicative of the high regard placed upon
our tax degrees by the tax profession.
